This hitch was exactly as described and feels very solid and well made. Installation was straightforward, and the adjustable height makes it easy to get the trailer level. I’ve used it to tow my enclosed trailer and it has performed great with no issues. The finish looks durable, and everything fit my 2-inch receiver perfectly. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.
(Unboxing)Love this hitch receiver! I would say excellent product for the price but to be honest I've dealt with receivers that were $200+ that were a pain in the butt. The height is perfect. Build quality is solid. It is heavy, but if it's going to tow what I need it for I'd rather it be; as weight ensures that its built to be durable. Versatile design for three different hitch sizes. Galvanized coating on the tri-balls and undercoating on the rest of the receiver!(I will update once I've used it for a while to give an extended review)
Normally you get what you pay for but this time The product surpassed my expectations for the quality and durability this hitch is amazing and I don't think I will be going to any other one matter of fact I will be buying another one for my second truck It was easy to put together the length and size was perfect It's easy to adjust and works amazing I'm not trying to put them on a pedestal but from their experience I had spending over $100 for a quality hitch and they never lived up to my expectation I am beyond happy with this purchase
The build quality, functionality, adjustability, and fit are all awesome when it comes to my truck. It looks great, and the value for the money is second to none. The customer service with this company is amazing also. I haul a few different size trailers that use different size balls so this works for all that I need. Plus due to the fact that my truck is lifted this allows the trailer to be hauled more even causing more stability with the items in the trailer. Life saver honestly (or career at least) lol. Highly recommend this company and this product. Thanks.
I recently got a pickup truck and needed to purchase a hitch. This one ended up being perfect because it has three ball sizes and the tongue height is adjustable. This is very heavy duty and the welds are quality. The balls are permanently welded to the unit, instead of bolted. I have not noticed any abnormal noisiness, but I have not towed much with it yet. Mine did not come with grommets and the description did not show it to be included in the package.Very pleased with this purchase and looking forward to towing a bunch with this hitch.
I use to have to carry three separate trailer draw bars with different sized balls in my work truck. With this unit I only need the one. It has all three sizes of balls and is adjustable for height as I change from one trailer to another. It is very solid and strong and finished with some kind of thick paint. It also came with a lock, which I like.
Update: Moving to 5 stars. My objection originally was missing parts but both the vendor and Amazon handled it perfectly and replaced the hitch and new one is complete and solid solid solid.. Great customer service and drive to make things right ASAP. What more can you ask for in a product.
Out of the box the kit was missing all the pin, clips and the locking pin, which of course hinders its use. I let Amazon know and they are shipping a replacement so will update accordingly.
Beyond the above this is certainly a solid constructed hitch that has all the ball options and adjustability that is hard to beat. Short of Pintle you have everything you could possible ask for in a simple, single package. It's really nice. Like to ease of adjusting the height as well which comes in handy if you tow with different vehicles at different ride heights.
Fix the missing part problem and a solid 5 stars for value and versatility
Update 2: Finally got a chance to spend some more time with this hitch and added a few pictures. As I previously mentioned this thing has near infinite ability to custom set up. Need the mount closer to the hitch no problem. Want it to sit further away from the hitch point, again no problem. Adjustment screws to ensure a tight, movement free set up between ball and mount. One hitch to rule them all.
The trailer hitch worked great, and the adjustability met my needs. But the 5 stars goes beyond the project. The tri-ball piece was stolen off my truck, off the hitch. The fitting is proprietary and cannot be replaced by any piece off the shelf. I contacted TYT to inquire about replacing just the missing part. They were responsive and great to work with. They helped me replace the tri-ball piece, and I'm able to use their product again. Thanks TYT.
Good quality and seems to be heavy duty . The hitch pin lock is ok but could be better . Keep in mind if have to use this on you truck or suv that you might have to remove the tung wheel to be able to use this hitch .
Purchased for my husband! It's absolutely awesome. I recommend to anyone who is tired changing the ball hitch every tiime it is needed! This is the perfect solution!!
